DELIVERY & RETURNS INFORMATION
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Upcycle U.K. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping & Returns Policy.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY
Shipment processing time
*** DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC ORDERS ARE TAKING LONGER TO PROCESS – PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES. SCAFFOLD BOARD ORDERS WILL TAKE 4-5 WEEKS TO DELIVER DEPENDING ON QUANTITY. COLLECTIONS WILL BE READY APPROX 1-2 WEEKS AFTER ORDERING. FURNITURE ORDERS ARE TAKING 8-10 WEEKS.
WE WILL BE IN TOUCH AS QUICKLY AS WE CAN TO UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF ORDERS.
Unsanded scaffold boards are shipped within 2-3 weeks of ordering, depending on quantity. Sanded/planed scaffold boards are shipped within 3-4 weeks of ordering, this will vary depending on quantity.
Smaller orders such as shelving, signs, coat hooks etc are processed and shipped within 2-3 weeks of ordering.
Larger items including tables, benches & cabinets are processed and shipped within 8-10 weeks.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
All shipping within UK mainland is next day. Shipping is calculated at checkout for all orders.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped, containing shipping details.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Upcycle U.K. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
When your order arrives please take the time to check for damage and if there are any issues, please sign for the delivery as ‘DAMAGED’. Please then take photos of the damage and the packaging and send it to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for us to investigate and arrange a replacement.
Can I change my order?
Once you’ve placed an order, you can only amend it if you contact us within 5 working days after ordering. You can also amend your contact and delivery details – please send us an email on email@example.com.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, as long as you contact us within 5 working days after ordering, we’ll cancel it and give you a full refund.
As all of our items are bespoke made, if you cancel after 5 working days, you’ll still be charged the full price. This doesn’t affect your statutory legal rights.
What if I don’t like what I ordered?
If you are not happy with the product you receive, please contact us within 5 working days of receiving it. We will then discuss your issues, as each product is bespoke made a full dialogue must be had to determine a resolution. If we deem it to be that there is not a problem with the item (no damage or defects) and you are just not happy with the look or style, we will not be able to replace or refund the product. This is inline with the Consumer Rights Act (2015) which states you are not entitled to a refund if you have ‘changed your mind’.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU READ OUR ITEM DESCRIPTIONS IN FULL PRIOR TO ORDERING. ALL OF OUR BESPOKE ITEMS ARE MADE FOR YOU AND ARE THEREFORE UNIQUE, WE CANNOT SHOW EVERY POSSIBLE VERSION ON OUR PHOTOGRAPHS. THE PRODUCTS MAY HAVE SMALL SCRAPES, CRACKS, DENTS, SPLITS, CUTS, MARKINGS, BRANDING/WRITING ON. THIS IS BECAUSE WE USED RECLAIMED ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO CERTAIN ELEMENTS AND CONDITIONS OVER THE YEARS. WE BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT GIVES THEM CHARACTER, SO PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING TO ENSURE THESE ARE RIGHT FOR YOU AND YOUR HOME! WE WILL NOT REFUND OR REPLACE AN ITEM IF WE DO NOT FEEL YOUR COMPLAINT IS JUSTIFIED BASED ON THE ITEM DESCRIPTION.
What if the item’s damaged when it arrives, or I was sent the wrong item?
It’s important that you inspect your order on delivery, because we’ll ask you to sign a form confirming that it’s in good condition. If you’re not happy, let our delivery partner know, or note this on the delivery form and contact us.
Our quality team checks your furniture to make sure it’s up to the very best standards before we send it to you. But if we’ve missed something or sent you the wrong thing, just let us know within 5 working days. It really helps if you send us a few photos of the damage or any other issues. Our team will assess your complaint and let you know how to return the item, or arrange for a collection. We’ll either give you a full refund, arrange for a repair, or order you a replacement.
So that we can collect it, the product needs to be disassembled and repackaged in the exact same packaging/quality of packaging to ensure it arrives without any (further) damage. We suggest taking photos before you wrap it, and once wrapped to prove this.
How long will my refund take?
For security reasons, we can only make refunds to the original payment method you used to place your order.
